A Snapshot of Our Impact

The Waukee Public Library Friends Foundation helps fund the resources, programs, and possibilities that make our library more than a building. Donor support allows the library to respond to community needs, expand access, and create experiences beyond what its regular operating budget can provide.

Programs That Bring People Together

We support engaging programs for children, teens, adults, and families—creating opportunities to learn, connect, and discover something new.

Books, Technology & Resources

We help provide materials and tools that encourage literacy, spark curiosity, build skills, and make information accessible to everyone.

Outreach Beyond the Library

We help take the library into the community, reaching older adults, families, people with limited mobility, and neighbors who face barriers to visiting in person.

Welcoming Spaces & Special Projects

We invest in enhancements and special initiatives that make the library more inviting, useful, and responsive to Waukee’s growing community.

Why It Matters

A strong library helps build a connected, informed, and thriving community. Every gift helps the library reach more people, create more opportunities, and ensure that everyone has a place to learn and belong.

Your support makes more possible.
